Fox Nation Presents Six-Part Documentary Series on Socialism Hosted by Bret Baier
Fox Nation, the digital subscription video channel from Fox News Channel, presents a major documentary series produced by Annapolis-based production company Grace Creek Media. The series is hosted by Special Report host Bret Baier. Andrew Walworth, President of Grace Creek Media, is executive producer for Grace Creek and writer of the series. Grace Creek’s John Sorensen is director/producer, and author Joshua Muravchik is Editorial Consultant.
The series is shot on location in Africa, Europe, Israel and North America and tells the story of how socialism grew as an ideological and economic force, shaping much of the past 200 years. The programs feature interviews with major scholars and writers, including Anne Applebaum, the late Christopher Hitchens and many others.
“Today, a new generation is coming of age with no direct memory of socialism,” says writer and executive producer Andrew Walworth, President of Grace Creek Media. “As a result, socialism has gained a new cachet as a panacea for the pains of globalization, migration and industrial obsolescence. The image of equality, harmony and easy abundance still tantalizes. History is far from over, and we are glad to have the opportunity to tell this important story at this critical moment.”
